Workn on Hammer
« on: March 21, 2018, 09:44:15 AM »
I have two P-07's and the urban gray threaded barrel one has the CGW pro kit installed.  The black one has a 16lb hammer spring and the reduced power blocker spring.  I have done a lot of polishing on the internals.  I was going to order the CGW 91000 hammer but since I was replacing it anyway, I decided to try stoning it.  I worked on it a tiny bit at a time.  I now have it breaking at just under 3lbs in SA with the slightest hint of creep (less than 1/32") but smooth as butter.  Shoots great and feels almost as good as the other one.  The reset is just a tad longer but it is okay.  I still love the feel of the pro kit, but this one is a great shooter too.

I remember when "Common Sense" was common.  I must really be old!
