P07/09 with Cajun Springs and Hard Primers

Believe me - I buy the Fed Al also - but $160 shipped for a case of Wolf is hard to turn down. No tax.  Walmart also has $7.78/box Tula which I found to be pretty clean (silver bullet stuff).

Yup $7.78 had me thinking. Might still try it. I got other guns I can put it through if my FP isn't long enough.

If I remember correctly, my cz compact with 17 LB spring is 100 percent with steel case.

I'm at #15 no Extendo FP, my only concern. Never had one not go off so I may do it for fun. I know the gun will eat it no problem.

It doesn't say ?  I've been using 13 lb Hammer along with a  15 lb Gold recoil Spring Shooting Freedom HP FP Reloads 115 and 124 grain with not one issue. With the same Hammer and OEM recoil Spring my face takes a beating:)

IDK when I will get to the range, but I just bought that brown box Winchester USA. It looks awful lol.

USA Forged Steel $8.24 so $.16 a round
Federal Aluminum $8.97 so $.17 a round

We will see how it does, both from walmart, both VERY cheap. Also had brass for less than $10.00 a box. Hard to beat any of those prices.
Hopefully my stock FP can fire these off. If not they will be going right into my newer P10C.

Most of the time I see Tula at Walmart.  $7.74/50.  It?s likely better than win steel.  After tax still a tad over 16 c/rd.  Wolf shipped is cheapest.  Typically no problem, especially with CZ compact or Walther P99s stock.

Fed aluminum has been great.

FINALLY was able to shoot that cheap Winchester Steel casing stuff.

Worked fine with my P09 with the comp HS and stock FP; but it also worked fine in the P10C and the SP01 Tact. I can get aluminum cheaper so I probably wont shoot it again, but I wouldn't hesitate to shoot it.

briang...: , I have the CGW extended FP with FP spring from CGW and CGW hammer and 15 lb hammer spring, short reset kit installed and CGW Extra-Strength Sear spring (which is necessary with this combination of upgrades).

My P-07 will function with any ammo I have ever tried in it and has done so for years now. I shoot it almost every week or so. Total 100% percent flawless function. It is the one gun I carry when I want to be sure I'm prepared for anything.

I have about 600~ rounds of tulammo through my first p-09. It has the cgw extended firing pin and spring but stock main spring. Never had 1 hiccup. Have another 09 with probably another 150 -200 rounds of tulammo, stock main spring but just added cgw firing pin and spring, maybe 100 rounds of tula with that.

I love tula for cheap range fodder. I don't reload, so I order that stuff by the case. My experience with it has been MUCH better than the few cases of freedom I ran through a few years ago. I will say, getting serious about shooting for groups in the last few months -  I go to better, brass cased stuff for that (lawman or sellior bellot).

Well I was going to eventually get the CGW Ext-FPS, but I don't see the point. Stocker even with such a light HS does the job just fine.
