Shadow 2 with threaded barrel ....

I haven't seen this discussed with the Shadow 2 before so I thought I'd throw it out there for info for those interested in shooting suppressed. The 5.2" threaded barrel for the SP-01 does in fact fit and function reliably in the Shadow 2. It requires the standard fitting, but after it's fitted it is just as accurate as the stock barrel.

I just came across this thread and tried swapping the parts.

The barrel does indeed fit, but I wouldn't try shooting it in this configuration without changing the guide rod.

There's a clearance issue with the factory stainless guide rod that causes it to make contact with the front of the slide.  It's a little better with the SP-01 plastic guide rod, but not good enough to trust it with a can on.
