Rami BD, CGW, and Me

I just recently got a Rami BD to replace my P07 Duty as an edc. After carrying it for awhile and putting ~500rds through it, I am confident this will be my carry pistol for a good while to come. I want to get the Cajun Gun Works Defensive Carry Package for it, I am just worried about doing the install myself. I like to consider myself mechanically inclined; I have redone head gaskets, timing sets, water pumps, and the like on cars/jeeps so I am not too worried about my skill set, but I am worried about my knowledge. It being the BD I can't find much on it; I have found quite a bit on the safety Rami. I have the exploded view of the pistol from the manual, but I am worried that it is not enough. Is it it similar enough to the Rami Safety in that I can just intuitively figure it out as I disassemble while watching videos on the Rami Safety? Looking for any input/advice.

Greetings from Chicago! There are some great videos on the forum; just do a search and you should be fine.

I EDC the rami safety version and put the defensive carry package in it myself. I also put the Pro Package in my P09 with the decocker; that one was more challenging but overall not bad. Not sure what if any difference there is between the Rami and P09 sear assembly. I?m sure somebody else will chime in with an answer.

Thanks! Not too far from me (Porter County, IN).  I saw https://www.czfirearms.us/index.php?topic=46061.0 and think this will be one of the better resources for me. If this goes well, I may do a package on my P07 Duty as well which now has the Kadet adapter on it for my wife.

That?s a good one. Joe L has a couple great videos for the P09 decocker version. I?m guessing those would come in handy for the P07 when the time comes.
