Re: Update: UTAS-USA & SAR-USA at NRA convention
« Reply #45 on: May 01, 2017, 09:45:33 AM »

If I am reading this correctly they are only planning on bringing the polymer guns in?

Why not the Kilinc and K12?

Their full steel offerings are literally the only CZ75 variants that are fully forged (frame, slide, barrel) and for me that is the main selling point.

From the same guy who was at the convention: "Pistol models immediately available for shipment are: B6, B6C, CM9, SAR9, ST40, ST45, P8L, P8S, 2000, K2-45, K2-45C, K12, K12 Sport, & SR38. If there is one wanted not on the list, let them know."

So yes, looks like there's gonna be some steel guns. Kinda getting a hankering for a K2-45C myself now, the full size wasn't very appealing to me.  ;)

Awesome. Looking forward to these, especially the P8 and Kilinc 2000

The Canadian websites say these take CZ75 mags. Can anyone confirm this? I know the AR24 took tanfoglio mags.

Here is the online catalog, which I was given the link just this morning.
---------------------------------------

John,

Thanks for your inquiry.

We have actually been importing Sarsilmaz handguns and shotguns since early last year. We offer a broad selection, including models that have never been imported before, but we have stayed away from those imported by EAA. I can?t rule out our picking some of those up in the near future,

As far as parts are concerned, we are pushing Sarsilmaz to let us sell all their parts, even for guns we don?t carry. Requests such as yours will help. (If you know anyone else who has concerns about Sarsilmaz parts, please ask them to email us: the more the better.)

I almost forgot: below is a link to our handgun & shotgun catalogue.

Very strange given what several of us were told my UTAS this weekend at NRA.  They had 8 SAR pistols on display, a very nice full color, spiral bound shooters log sized catalogue of SAR weapons with their address in small print in the back (print date 4/17).  Not quite sure what is up and who is really the SAR pistol importer at this stage.

I'm hoping that UTAS will be the importer. I have emailed them and they said they are bringing in a far larger selection than what is included in the TR Imports catalog.

If what's in the catalog is the extent of their offerings then I hope they AREN'T the importer, that's a pretty sparse selection.  :(

I emailed UTAS before and they said the entire line up is being imported. I replied to ask about TR Imports. Waiting to hear their reply.

See my other thread on this....they are being imported.  I just picked up a Stainless K2 .45 from Preppergunshop recently! They are coming in!

Thanks unionman, I just placed my order for the stainless K2 45. Really like my K2, enough to get the stainless as well!

They had 4 left after mine, so don't wait too long for yours, might be gone.

Cool!  they look great.  They look like they get 3-4 in, sell out, and order more.  I've already seen that cycle twice in the last month.  However, I don't know how many the importer brought it either!!

BTW, I contacted the new importer directly and they SAY the compact K2 .45 (about 1 inch shorter barrel) should be in late this year or early next....

The compact is on my wish list for sure.  The full-size K2 is my favorite pistol to shoot.  Really hope it's brought in this year!

Thanks for letting us know.  Not interested in Stainless but a Compact K2 would be terrific.
