Did something borderline stupid last night. I bid $100 on a new Ruger Security 9 at a fund raiser silent auction. I got a call this afternoon, seems I was the only bidder. I'll be picking up my new pistol over the weekend. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it. If I don't like it, I figure I can always sell it for a couple of hundred on the local gun trader board.
I bid $8500 on the Merkel 9.3x74R double rifle I really wanted, it sold for $12400.
