Just got my first CZ - RAMI D. Looking to upgrade @ Cajun. Is the Pro grade worth the extra  $$ over the Carry Upgrade to? Pros & Cons.

Thanks
Big Cape.

For a carry gun, I would say no!

If you decide to order from then, they will advise accordingly.

I have just recently started to carry my RAMI D. Thus far, it has 600 rounds.

At this time, the only change I have in mind is a 85 combat trigger and the floating trigger pin. Other than that, it?s perfect for now.

Yep, it's perfect the way it is. Just get some new grips and use the money for ammo and practice at the range. Get to know the gun before you make any changes. Then adjust it to your liking.

I have about 200 rounds and have changed the trigger to the "Old Style" trigger, trigger floating pin, installed the Ultra-Lite kit with extended firing pin, and polished the feed ramp. The trigger change made a big difference in comfort and the Ultra-Lite kit did reduce the trigger pull. Not expensive and easy to install.

If it works the way it is; (reliability, sights, trigger) save your money, or, better yet, spend it on ammo and range time.  If it does not work, send it back and they factory smiths will fix it free.

Welcome to the forum!

Totally personal preference, so shoot it as is for a while and see what bugs you.

I don?t mind the hammer on my RAMI?s, I?ve had other CZ?s that were much worse (tends to be luck of the draw). I really like CGW?s rrk and as short a reset as possible, so I would either go with the pro kit or a la cart.

Personally, I?m just going with the rrk (and srs where needed) in my CZ?s now.  If the trigger and reach are comfortable for you, but you want a lighter pull and cleaner break, you can go with the defensive carry kit.

You can also e-mail CGW and let them know what you want to change, they do a great job of recommending the best parts tailored to your personal tastes.

Before doing something like that with your Rami, try it out on your new 75B, 85B, SP01... you did get one of those by now, too right???  Didn't you?

That is exactly the route that I am planning to take. My new SP-01 has some 600 rounds down range, now. It?s going to be my new IDPA gun.

I am planning on installing the CGW Pro kit on it. Afterwards, I will decide on what I may do to my RAMI.
