Installed CGW P10C kit
« on: July 13, 2018, 04:49:23 PM »
Just finished up installing the P10C kit into my FDE with night sights.  Major parts changes in the kit are the aluminum trigger with adjustable reset distance screw, steel striker, steel T-block, mag release pin, and disconnector spring.   I added the stainless steel guide rod and 15-lb. recoil spring.

I also did a bit of light polishing as per Earl An?s video and used his disassembly and reassembly video as well. Nice work that helped out.

Verdict: the trigger creep I had is significantly lessened!  I?d say 75-80% gone.  It definitely gives  a crisper feel. I also like having the fine quality steel pieces replacing the MIM (I know... don?t say it) striker which bothered me as well as the plastic  t-block. The trigger is highly comparable with my VP9.

The process in entirety took me only about 90 minutes taking care to disassemble within a 2-gallon zip lock bag.

I believe this is a very well spent $150, and I liked doing it myself and getting familiar with the finely engineered innards of this thing.

David and company at Cajun Gun Works make unmatched quality parts.  Thanks CGW!
