I had light strikes with Winchester & CCI primers, needed an extended firing pin.  I was feeling cheap at the time and only bought the spring, I should have just bought the entire CGW "kit" instead of piecemealing it and paying shipping 3 times
: ).

Your mileage may vary.

Wow that is lazy.

If you have it. Toss it in. It should only take a few minutes. Punch out the pin, the firing pin literally falls out once you push on the firing pin block.

It also gives you an opportunity to clean up the firing pin channel. On the past 2 CZ's I've purchased there has been crud in there (metal shavings + lubricant)

What gun do you have? If it?s a Shadow 2 or TSO, it?s very easy and doesn?t even take a minute. Just remove the slide and pop the firing pin stop, replaced and install spring/firing pin, install firing pin stop and reinstall slide. That?s it.

By "kit" are you talking about the 3 spring kit?  Then YES I've installed the 3 spring kit on both the Matte Stainless and PCR with great success with a variety of ammo.  I did not install an extended firing pin.  And YES I've substituted the firing pin retaining pin for CGW's hardened pin to be more resistant to damage from dry firing.  Well worth it.  Just to be safe -- test for yourself over many magazines worth of your chosen SD rounds to insure all go bang.  Inspect the dimple on the primer as well.

Good Luck!

It shouldn't be hard to punch out. If it is, something is wrong. Perhaps oversized punch (I've done that)

You could make a delrin punch with a piece of 1/4" rod and never leave a mark.
