To date, I have never used the safety or the decocker on any of my CZ-75B's.  I would
be fine if they had neither.  Just personal preference.

My preference would actually be a straight DA/SA with NO safety option.  DA provides all the safe position necessary to carry, practice or compete in minor power factor venues.

I own both now but most of my cz's are decockers.  In USPSA production you can just hit the decocker at the make ready command.  You get to start at half cock.

Plus I prefer to carry at half cock.  So it makes sense to use decocker pistols.

Now I'm shooting in limited with my TSO and I've installed the wide safety that my thumb rests on while shooting.   No issue with forgetting to click off the safety.

I think it's great that cz offers most models in both variants so you don't have to compromise when purchasing.
