FDE P10C night sights

I did some searching in the forum and couldn't find any posts.  Who has a P10C with factory night sights that has a #2 front sight?  I'm on my third P10C.  Both of those have been black.  I still have one of them.  Both black versions have had the #3 front sight.

I finally was able to pick up a FDE version this weekend in a trade.  The front sight has the white outline.  I preferred that over the dull orange.  I went shooting today with some 147 grain Gold Dots and noticed I was shooting a bit high.  I prefer a 6 o'clock hold but was still a little high from my other P10C.  I looked at the sight and noticed it had a number 2 on it.  I was surprised as I had not seen any posts with pistols having a #2 front sight.  Just curious if the other FDE pistols floating around out there have a #2 front sight.  I wonder why CZ changed from the #3 to the #2.  It's about 3 inches high for me with 147 grain ammo at 15 yards so with 6 inch plates I should be fine.  I was to lazy to dig out some frangible ammo at lunch so I wasn't able to shoot the plate rack yet.  David

My FDE P10C with factory night sights has the orange ringed front #2 as well.  It shoots point of aim for me.  I'm not a huge fan of these sights though as the front sight takes up too much space in the rear notch for me.  I prefer a little more gap.

Interesting - I never looked. The White Nitride has a 2 and the FDE a 3. Hmm.

I wonder why the change?  I don't recall reading any posts with people complaining of the factory sights being off when the P10C came out.  David

My FDE with nights also shoots POA.
