This seems like a good addition to an upcoming business trip.  Thanks for the headsup!

Considering how screwed up the one at Athena gun club was, I'll pass. The owners of Spring G&A are of the same mind set. Wish they'd do one at Shiloh or Shoot Sports.

I understand about being hesitant to go.

Tomorrow the same store is having a SIG DEMO DAY.

I was originally planning to go but a visit today to my LGS/Range kept me from needing to go.

They had an assortment of Sig 320's which I was allowed to handle.  They have some issues with the slide not going full into battery and you need to get into the habit of tapping the back of the slide to ensure fully into battery.  Not what I'd expect you'd need to do with an advertised "Duty" weapon!

I also was privileged to shoot a Sig Rattler in .300 Blackout.  Nice, but I still prefer my Bren 805 in 5.56/.223. I didn't think the Rattler reduced the recoil much compared to my Bren.  Yes it had no noticeable muzzle rise, but then neither does my Bren.

Going back to the CZ Demo Day at SG&A, do I really think they'll show me anything new?

I went to the Sig Demo day today.
The only thing they had there for me to shoot, that i don't already own was a Scorpion 1911 carryu and a 320 x5.
It wasn't a bad deal for 25 bucks, i did learn however , i am not a 1911 guy.
And the x5 [320] isn't any better than my 320 compact rx with x-carry grip mod.

I will be there for the CZ Demo days. So far [new to CZ ownership] i have only fired my SP01 tactical , and look forward to trying out some more!
