Fiest time out! 455 Combo.

CZ 455 Combo. Picked it up at 10:30. Had scope mounted and bore sighted by 11:45. Went to range and had it sighted in at 1:00. First 5 were low left and wasn't sure how many clicks on the scope to move it where it needed to go so it took me about 25 rounds to get it sighted in. Next 5 were all over the place....scope mount came loose so I had to start all over. About 100 rounds and not one issue. All of this was with 22LR. The shooting was only 25 yards as I couldn't get to outdoor range. Shooting off a bag rest. I'd post pictures but I don't have enough posts yet. Now I need to try 17 HMR barrel, get more mags and reduce the trigger pull. First rifle and what a hoot to shoot.

I know the feeling. I have the same set-up .22LR/.17HMR. Lots of fun to be had and a pleasure with all the great accuracy.

Since my first post I have joined an outdoor range, bought a 6 inch and 3 inch 'gong', and have shot 800 rds of 22LR and 500 17 HMR. Since school got out I take my 14 year old grandson with me. He is getting pretty good and only wants to shoot the 3 inch at 100 yards. We are using a bipod on a bench. Next purchase is going to be a Lux barrel so we can use the iron sights, can't decide on what caliber for the Lux.  I really want to get him off the bench and bipod. We are having so much fun at 100 yds he wants to try 200 so I had to buy a Savage in 223. I bought the Savage because a guy at the range had one and let me try it. It's a nice shooter.

Combo rifle, plenty of ammo, long distance range and time with the grandson...awesome!!

ha, sounds like you were in way too much of a hurry to hit the range! Remember that old saying; "Not enough time to do it right, but plenty of time to do it over"...
