Maybe not so quick to judge I would say........my left side frame plate cracked and the top of the magwell portion of the grip housing.  My son was shooting it with what SHOULD have been factory ammo.  I personally believe my gun was able to fire out of battery.  No one will ever know for sure what it was, but it has been sent back to CZ for 4 weeks now.  I thought it interesting that the CZ website sells both of these parts for less than $100.  Now why would they offer these parts unless there is some knowledge that they can/will break.  My problem is that my gun was one of the very first models and my plates are different from the two subsequent versions that followed mine.  The versions for sale now are for the 2nd and 3rd model versions.  At least that is what the gunsmith said when we spoke.  Will let you know more when I know more.

They sell barrels too, doesn't mean they're prone to breaking.

So...he has had that much trouble with them, had them replaced that many times, and the most he can do is shoot a 7 SECOND video showing the problem?

Even if true, this is dumb. There should be enough Scorpions out there that if there was a problem with frames cracking, others would have experienced it.

Don't believe it was the video guy's gun.

My favorite part is "it's like the 3d or 4th time it's happened..."  Yeah, if I'd had the happen, you can be certain I'd know exactly how many times it had happened.

That's part of what makes me think it's a range rental gun...
