Single point QD mount?
« on: October 31, 2018, 10:23:39 AM »
New Scorpion owner here.  I have the SBT folding brace on mine and would like to have a single point QD mount.  Does anyone know if there is something that will work with the brace?

Thanks

I had this one: http://www.parkermountainmachine.com/store/p100/CZ_Scorpion_EVO_3_S1_Rear__QD__Sling_Mount.html but I stopped using it amid fears that it can crack the receiver.

I then went with this one: https://www.sigsauer.com/store/sig-sauer-low-profile-qd-socket-1913.html and have been very pleased with it.

Care to expand on the PMM frame cracking statement? Have had them on my two Scorpions used in competition for more than 1 1/2 years without issue and know others with them.  Did I miss a thread on here about a problem?

I was worried about this at first after reading a few comments but I?ve never had any issues as well.
IMO it could be possible to put a lot of force on the rear mount if you run a super tight strap while in the shooting position. I don?t do it that way my self. I really like the PMM mounts .
