Micro Desert Eagle 380
« on: June 15, 2020, 01:43:49 PM »
I bought a NOS Magnum Research Micro Desert Eagle 380 recently. While inspecting it I noticed the trigger pin had walked out a little on the left side. This happened after some slide manipulation and dry firing. So with the left side of the gun facing down I tapped it against the palm of my hand with moderate force and I was able to make the pin come out far enough to grab and easily remove it. The gun, of course, is in great shape and the trigger pin seems absolutely fine. An internet search on this revealed nothing.

Does anyone else have one of these guns? If so will you try to repeat the same hand tap like I did to see if your trigger pin will come out relatively easy too and let me know? I'm just funny about sending in any of my guns for inspection and or repair if I can fix it myself.

UPDATE: Magnum Research replaced the trigger bar spring and trigger pin. This is my first dealing with Magnum Research directly and it's been great service so far, fast and friendly. AND A REAL PERSON ANSWERS THE PHONE! :o  :D
