Does this have the omega trigger?

Nope, standard trigger.

If the 91197 really is just an over run from a police contract as has been surmised in another forum, FB, then these were produced to that standard as an issue weapon rather than a presentation piece.

I wouldn't be surprised if the frame and slide were polished in a tumbler with media and nothing else was done to them.

Then they were assembled with un prepped SS parts.

The inside of the frame was not polished so I don't believe they were tumble polished.

The beavertail and under the trigger guard look truely like an SP-01, much better than the 99021. Can you verify?

OK so here are the beavertail and undercut comparisons.

The 91197 has a slightly different beavertail than the others.

The 99021 and 99041 are certainly more upswept than the P01 but are slightly different than the 91197. They seem thicker.

The SP01 does look to have a very similar beavertail than the 91197.

When I compared undercuts, all the steel framed compacts appeared the same as the SP01.

Dang, these 91197?s are the real SP-01 Compacts! I just put my 99021 back together after doing some work to get it more like the SP-01. It feels way better to me (the undercut under the trigger guard makes a big difference to me). Can you feel a difference between them with your grip?

Admittedly awful picture but I am still cleaning up my mess... I don?t know if I got the beavertail as nice but the trigger guard is a little closer to a Shadow 2, as in I took it in as far as I could within reason.

I can feel the difference between the beavertails. Only slightly.

I feel the squared edge of the trigger guard on all of my CZ's which bothers me.

If I end up refinishing it I always round that edge and do more of an undercut.

Wow, I like that undercut. How did you know how far to take it without breaking through. One positive thing about the stainless version is you could just polish it up after grinding it - no recoating.

I took it about as far as the Shadow 2. I just kept an eye on how much material was left. It looks a little thinner than it is. I beveled the edges really nicely. Like Underwhere, I feel the edges of the stock 75's. The SP-01 feels a lot better, but this one took it as close to the Shadow 2 and I could.
