In my well lighted local indoor range the green ring on the Night Fision front sight POPS and is easy to see. I also like my choice of the U shape rear sight. At first my shots were hitting about 1 1/2" high but after a few magazines I was right on target. I'm happy with the sights and plan to buy another set with the orange front sight. As far as being extra bright don't fall for it they are about as bright as the sights on my 2 year old Sig 938.
