I got it! The DA stroke was being shortened because the disco nose was bottoming out on the frame, then popping the disco up off the trigger bar prematurely.

I had to get at the disco nose to shorten it up. I realized that I may have to remove the safety detent to get the hammer pin stop pin out. However, installing the safety detent with DS Perlman extra power spring was literally the hardest part of the entire project; so being short on time, and also quite lazy in hindsight, I was determined to cut down the nose of the disco without removing the hammer.

I went in freehand with a Dremel and diamond bit. Sounds crazy I know, but I do have a steady hand. It was spectacular; I used a sharpie to mark progress and removed a tiny bit at a time until the DA stroke was perfect. Then sanded it down nice and smooth and polished it.

This gun is now amazing DA and SA! I’m not kidding! I love it so much now I went back to the stock slide stop and safety also. I like the shadow 2 safety, but its position is a little off for me to have my thumb up over it. Will take and post some pics of all of this when I have more time

Looks nice. Was curious how these guns look before the polish job.
