Slightly wider grip, leave a beveled area to get to the mag release, and more aggressive stippling especially front and back straps.

Steel decocker and make it flatter with proper checkering - maybe like the 75 Omega convertible.  Just get the decoker OUT of the way of the slide release.

Sights - Offer PLAIN rear with a ledge on the front of the rear sight and front night sight ala SIG XRay, or similar.

Offer a mid size version.  17 round (like a Phantom), and 3.8 inch barrel.  Make bases for the 17s to fit the P07.  This would be aimed at LE - like the G45.  Also sell adapters for the P09 19 round mag.  as desired.

Offer black, ODG, FDE, UG frame colors in both SR and standard versions.

Offer an RDS version with cover.

Slightly wider trigger.

Then contract CGW for the internal parts.  Open a plant here and make USA a manufacturer.

Just integrate the P-10C grip.

Being a 1911 shooter I still manage to get hammer bite on these so a SLIGHTLY more pronounced beaver tail would help ME. Perhaps a slightly deeper undercut. I dunno.

Yep decocker leaves a lot to be desired. As does the decocker spring - it should be longer; long enough that it cannot inadvertently come out of the recessed hole it resides in web trying to reinstall everything.

Do that and I?d sell what I have and replace it with Gen3s.

Of course offer a paddle version and ditch the hard to use p10c Ambi release.  A paddle mag release is vastly superior and easy to mod while you are already changing the grip.

I?d love to see the P10 texture, optics ready by default, a slightly longer and beveled mainspring cap and metal decocker levers.

That would do it for me

Or just leave the gun as is and find something that suits you better. Most people are content with it as is. I like it as is. No interest AT ALL in the paddle mag release but SIG XRAY 3 style night sights would be a welcome upgrade for any of my CZ's

I agree completely. SIG Xray sights would be great. I love them on my SIG P365. Paddle mag releases are fine, if you only use paddle releases. If you have other pistols with American style mag releases then paddle releases confuse things. I believe in keeping all my pistol controls the same.

The P07/09 does suit me - in fact I have more of them than any other gun.  Leave 'perfection' to Glock.  The 07/09 design is quite good, but its now over 10 years old and if CZ UB was thinking of a next gen, they might want input.  Of course you don't HAVE to provide it.

I also think a review of QC might be good on the trigger parts for more consistent product from gun to gun would serve them well.

Happy with my P07  and P09 but I wish for:

A .45 acp version.  I guess it wouldn't be a P07 or P09 as they'd probably make the frame/slide bigger.  But that's okay, as long as it had the polymer frame, reliability and accuracy of the P07 and P09.
I just keep wasting time and money on other brands trying to find/make one shoot like my P07 and P09.  What is wrong with me?

If CZ made it it would be accurate and reliable.  But 45 would be a TOTAL retool.  But, hey, HK did it.

My comments are meant to be reasonable improvements.  Obviously the decocker thing would be a trivial mod and ONLY to a part.  Sights are easy too.  QC on the trigger parts is also not that difficult and would be a huge improvement and would likely add only a small cost.  I cannot tell you how much one of my P09s improved by losing its grittiness from a CGW roller bearing.

In fact, without CGW, I would likely NOT be invested in the P series.

That all sounds about perfect to me.

Would love to see a 16/17 round frame with P09 length slide

I may be right and maybe wrong but I suspect CZ has probably gone ae far as they are going to go with the P-07/09 series. I'm betting they are going to put their eggs in the striker fired basket going forward. I don't think the old CZ's are going away anytime soon but they have to be looking at the bigger picture and if they ever want to compete in LE sales in the U.S. striker seems to be where it's at right now. Sadly.
