Second PCR
« on: October 28, 2018, 09:07:52 PM »
I bought my first PCR in February and liked it so well after 2.8k rounds I bought another used this week, (200 rounds), from the classified here. Had a chance to try out the second one today. Weather wasn't so good with 40 MPH wind gusts but running a mix of reloaded coated 124 gr SWC and reloaded 124 gr Gold Dots it ran 100% through 98 rounds.

I do like PCR's.

I’d love to run 2800 rds on one pistol in 8-ish months.

Congrats on PCR #2!

The PCR is an outstanding pistol. I have long felt it to be the perfect all around handgun.

Bought used (2014 model) PCR and have used it as my CC for almost a year - 800 rounds at the range ... flawless and accurate -  Wonderful ...

Similar thing here. I bought a used one and carried it for the last 2 years. I can't imagine a better carry gun so I just bought a second new one from CGW with a Pro Package and night sights. Can't wait to pick it up on Wednesday.

Your PCRs will like 124 gr Gold Dots even more than you like them!

I've had my best results with Unique and IMR SR-4756 with the Speer bullets.  No matter what you do, stick with 124 gr. bullets.

Love my PCR as well. I have some older wood grips on it; it's a very classy pistol for sure. Does well at the local BUG matches, always gets lots of compliments.

I've been a wee bit obsessed with CZ long guns lately but I always enjoy shooting my PCR :D

Glad you found another to suit you!
