Customers 97B Targets
« on: November 14, 2018, 08:26:31 AM »
One of our customers sent us a group of targets he shot with his 97B"E" conversion.  Customer was also using our EZ/d 97 sight set.  I'll check the distance and post.

That's impressive! Was that from a rest or off hand? What load, cast or jacketed, etc? I put a reflex sight on the 97BE y'all did for me and have not shot much (it did very well though). Gives me incentive to go out and show mine again.

Those targets are impressive, David!  Does the 'E' bushing come out just like a 1911?  Does it utilize the stock 97 guide rod plug or does CGW provide their own plug?

It would be hard to complain about those groupings.

Reuses the stock plug.

Looks good, does CGW crown the barrel when they do the 1911 bushing or was that extra?

The CZ 97B-E is no joke. It's the real deal. Here is my SAO Copperhead that I put 10 shots into a ragged hole at 10 yards freehand.  The target is 3". Amazing firearm thanks the CGW.

Another on the "look at list". I want to put one in hand before I lay down $$$ but cannot find a 97 anywhere to look at.

I sent this pic to David several years ago. He likely forgot. It was shot by a friend, single hand at 50' indoors with his 97 BD-E. This is a timed fire target. Two 5 shot strings, in 20 seconds each. I score it a 99.  I wish I could do that.

I had the right to remain silent...

but not the ability.

First 10 shots through my E-conversion. Slow fire, standing, first shot double-action, remaining single, 35ft:

Totally different gun after the conversion. I've already bought another 97b and will be sending it in for work as soon as the threaded barrel arrives.  That one will be a SAO conversion with red dot.

I usually shoot at steel with my 97B-E, but I can tell you it is dead nuts accurate...will hang with my Dan Wesson all day.

I am tempted to send by 97BD into Cajun, but my concern is if I get the full E conversion whether or not my pistol would still be reliable enough for self defense/carry.  My concern, specifically is whether by making the 97BD tighter and undoubtedly more accurate, whether that makes it a bit more finicky feeding, or precludes the use of certain ammunition?s.
