Polish, not wax. Wax can get sticky[emoji6]
Sorry, I just assumed the mags were dirty, strange that they acted that way. CZ USA will have the factory springs. CZC has extra power springs, not sure about CGW. Someone else should be by to point you in the correct direction.

Polish not wax, got it.
Yeah, almost like they were left loaded for a long time. The follower would come up very slow and eventually catch up as I thumbed the rounds out. I didn't notice any damage to the inside of the mag tube or the follower when I cleaned them.

Based on the recommendations here, I've been using Meguair's. Just performed the "Meguiar's Miracle" on a 60+ year old Hi-Standard magazine that was binding.

Update,
Tore into my pistol today. I did a parts swap, and polish job as per schmeky's tutorial post.

https://czfirearms.us/index.php?topic=42537.0

The parts changed out came from Cajun Gun Works and were:
14lb recoil spring
Stainless steel guide rod
Firing pin retaining pin
Reduced power firing pin spring
Reduced power firing pin block plunger spring
15lb hammer/main spring
Reduced power trigger return spring
Floating trigger pin

Everything went as planned and the finished product feels great!!!! Now I need to get back to shooting it!! ;D

Got back to the range to break in my new parts and here are the results so far. Let's just say I'm very very happy!!!  ;D ;D

Ammo used was:
S&B 124gr fmj
Rem 115gr fmj

First 19rd mag of the day at 17yds.

Next, 10 shots / 17yds.

This was my first attempt at at firing one handed, 10 shots/ 17yds.

As the day went, another attempt at firing one handed, 10 shots/ 15yds

After warming up, I moved to 25yds and a sand bag to see just what this thing would do!!  ;D
All groups were 10 shots/ 25yds. from sand bag.

Top group- Rem. 115gr. fmj. This was my first attempt and trying to figure out what was comfortable.
Bottom group- S&B 124gr fmj. This was my second try and thing were coming together.

Close up of bottom group

After getting a feel for 25yds. and sand bag, I gave it another try!!!!

To say the very least......I'm excited about my new to me pistol and how it's working out!!!!! I'm starting to see what the craze is about. I'll be back with more!

I want to wish everyone a very MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

These are the final results of my trigger job:

Double action pull from half cock is 7 3/4 lbs.

Single action pull is 4 lbs.

There is some travel in the single action but everything is very smooth. Reach, take up and reset all feel the same. The double action is very smooth also.

That's an awesome price.

Go big and get the race hammer kit. Night and day difference in the trigger.

Really, as long as there?s no cracks in the frame/slide ( have never seen any by the way) and the barrel looks good, you?re probably GTG. The internal springs are cheap and fairly easy to replace. Zooming in, it looks like a 2015 model, and I don?t see any marks on this side anyways, looks to be in great shape from what I can see.
The Tactical will be perfect for what your looking for. If later on down the road you decide you want a range piece (which IMHO it can be just as is) you can throw some CZC or CGW magic in it.

Welcome to the world of CZ, be forewarned, they are addicting.

You are more right than you know!!!
I can't say I wasn't warned!!!! LOL!!!!

The Christmas Elves from Cajun Gun Works brought me another package a few days ago.
Had some time today and managed to install the 10X barrel bushing they dropped off. Total time for this swap was about 5 minutes.
Took me longer to get the tools out than it did to get it done!!!

I'll post results after I get a chance to shoot my pistol.

Not sure I want the trigger quite that light for a home defense pistol. Can't say I haven't been looking at them, but I've never been one to fret over trigger pull to much any way.
