New Bren 2 window magazine
« on: December 07, 2018, 02:15:20 AM »
Looking at the links in the Bren 2 MS thread, I found this:
https://www.centerfireguns.com/cz-mag-bren-2-7-62x39-30rd-blk-window-11385.html

I can see a Magpul M3 look alike for the 5.56 Bren 2 (which should theoretically work in the AR15 btw), but for the 7.62x39 Bren 2, this will be very interesting.  I can see a 7.62x39 version of the Scorpion EVO window magazine.

Wish SigSauer would use the same magazine format for their upcoming 7.62x39 Sig MCX instead of the old 7.62x39 AR format and establish this magazine as the new 7.62x39 magazine standard.

I think you're right. Nice to have options.

Initial Scorpion translucent mag part number:  11350
Window Scorpion mag part number:  11355

Initial Bren 2 translucent mag part number:  11380
Mystery Magazine Window part number: 11385

Maybe some enterprising person could invent a mag well insert for AR lowers like the Bren 2 has. It is just an insert after all

That way you can use the improved magazines instead of a 70 year old design for peasants ;)
