first post- question on barrel length Bren 805 SBR
« on: December 08, 2018, 07:42:34 PM »
I purchased the 11" barrel from cz some time ago as my form 1 was pending.  While waiting I had about 3/4" barrel shortened to rid the gap between the gas block and the compensator. It looks phenomenal but now I'm worried it will have cycling issue with the shorter barrel. If I need to feed it hot 5.56 I will but wanted to get more experienced advice here.

You guys all suck. Lol. So it ran fine but with cheap ass tula it wouldn't always cycle and the bolt hold open didmt work. With wolf gold or 5.56 it cycled and worked fine on last round.  If I opened up gas port to the adverse setting it would run fine in cheap ammo.

The piston system and gas ports are identical on a 11" and 16" . I actually ran the original 16" gas system today and will save the 11" as a spare set
