New to me SP01, this wear normal?
« on: December 15, 2018, 04:50:08 PM »
Hello, picked up a new sp01 and I love it! So much that I just bought a Cajunized shadow 1 and kadet kit waiting for my dros!

The circled section anything to worry about in terms of wear? Ammo causing this?

My SP-01 has several thousand rounds thru it and has no marks on the extractor like yours.
CZ-83 380ACP
CZ-75 c 9mm
CZ-97 BD 45ACP
CZ SP-01 9mm

When the case is ejected it is spinning and hitting the end of your extractor on the way out. It's called "brass kisses". Both of my PCR's do this and one of my 1911's does this also (on the ejection port). If your gun is ejecting well it's not a concern. Some folks put tape over these areas while firing to eliminate these brass kisses for cosmetic reasons.

After thousand of rounds this condition hasn't caused any wear issues for me.

Perfectly normal marks. Every semi auto I own exhibits brass transfer like this in varying degrees.

New to CZ, but I find their coating poor-ish.   That may be what your experiencing.

Well I have news to report.  Bought a cz shadow 1 conversion and compared both ejection patterns  by hand cycling.  The shadow has zero wear Mark's on the this section and has a distinct up and out ejection.

My original sp01 ejects almost straight down every time.  Thoughts?  Replace the ejector?   They look exactly the same to me

Here are the pics of the ejector.  It does seem like the shadow version is a little more pointy.

You're looking for a problem.  If there isn't a function problem, don't sweat it.
