High Polish CZ75 Omega....Mystery SOLVED
« on: December 30, 2018, 11:10:33 AM »
Anyone, anywhere ever hear of this being an actual reality......reason I ask is my FFL who is a big CZ fan said he has come across one and offered it to me. He sent me a picture, and it does look like one....feedback welcome, let me know if this is a reality  :)

Seen the regular 75B in high polish stainless steel. Never seen the Omega in high polish but can't see why they would not do it.

My thinking is, CZ came out with the P01 compact stainless....so, maybe there are some other short run productions looming???  Maybe it was released ?somewhere? in the world but not ?everywhere?, wouldn?t be unheard of for CZ to do that.  Either way, I?ll report back when I actually see it for myself

Here is the pic he sent me, not the best quality.....the area behind the safety switch is the interesting part for converting between safety & decocker....as only an Omega can do....and the trigger looks more like the Omega one too......??

I?d want to see the insides. Almost wonder if it?s not a refinish. But it could always be a one off. If you got the serial number you could call CZ USA, they should be able to tell you.
Or if that?s the original box, it should say on it. If it truly is a one off, it?ll have its own SKU#.

Could easily be a bubba job on an Omega.  Sanded off the polycoat and polish it up!

Good thought.......I think the "bubba" angle  ;D  may have some traction here, time will tell.  Kinda fun to play detective on these guns that pop up from time to time.

Ford's Refinishing can work that over and turn it into a hard chrome polished finish. Gotta really love Omega's to do that.

Yup, the only way refinishing is feasible is if you could pick that thing up cheap...real cheap...like, I'll take it off your hands for $200 or less, cheap...Otherwise forget it, it'd cost more to straighten that thing out, than it would to buy new...
