P10c and 147gr Ammo
TNman:
I usually fire 124 gr. exclusively but found a good deal on some Federal 147 gr. so I tried it out. Not sure why, but I had 4 failures to feed in 150 rounds. I have over 900 rounds down the pipe so I can only assume the P10 doesn't like the 147. Anybody else have a similar experience?

Raining_Brass:
Just depends on OAL and bullet shape. When we were developing our match barrels, we found some 147gr the OEM barrels would run fine and some it absolutely would not at all.
TNman:
Good point. The ones I bought are flat nosed. That could be the issue.

Polish the feed ramp.

Don't believe his issues are actual feed issues. Probably a case of slide not going fully into battery due to bullets smashing into barrel leads due to short chamber, long OAL/bullet shape issue.
