Took a closer look.   It is def an older one as there is no date stamped on the slide.   Some might say that?s good news.  The last brand new matte I looked at was loose as anything.  This one seems pretty solid.

It looks to be in great shape

Rubber grips on it

That is a nickel plated pistol. All the stainless pistols, polished or matte finish, have stainless slide stop and safety. They also have ambidextrous safeties.

Even the older models?

Might be a moot point as someone scooped this up already

Mine isn't used a lot but it's old enough to be a Magnum Research import and shows no signs of wear. Have to note it has only seen leather holsters, no Kydex.
When did it change from "We the people" to "screw the people"?

Why use 911 when it's faster to use 1911 or 9mm?

The old matte nickel CZ finish is outstanding. It is extremely durable, more so than poly coat. It will tarnish and darken on the grip frame, but can be brought back with Flitz.

Is the nickel finished 75 a desired firearm as in there aren?t too many out there? A quick search on GunBroker did not show that many available for sale

Once out of production the older they are the less likely anyone is selling theirs.  IE there where a lot of Glossy Blues 75B's sold but try to find one now. 30 year Anniversary, few years ago you could buy them easily for $400-500 now IF you find one it's over a grand. Just sold one of my Glossy blues for $600 just because I wasn't shooting it and have another but it's the only one anybody has seen on Armslist etc for a while. Guy that bought it drove 7o miles to pick up after having it on a search list for5 years.

I love them but prefer high polish or even better, BOTH!
