I like the UG finish...It's been wearing well on my CZ75 SP-01 Tactical riding in a Safari land kydex holster...One issue I did run into early-on with this gun was extraction. With multiple bullet weights and types it appeared that the extractor was pulling off the case rim before clearing the chamber.  Issue was occurring on nearly every mag I ran through it.  I pondered sending it back to CZ for maintenance, but instead pulled the extractor and inspected...The coating/finish in the extractor channel appeared to be a little thick.  I cleaned some of it out and reinstalled the extractor, and the issue disappeared.  Runs great now...I ordered some Wolff extra powered extractor springs, but have yet to install one, because the issue is gone.

Without getting into the name game....it is not the most durable coating, but it is decent.  Thick and easily flaked off compared to better choices, but not horrible.   A drop, bang, or sight mounting will cause wear immediately.

Sounds a lot like Beretta's bruniton finish.
