I'm looking for a CZ Model 27, 7.65m/m pistol, has a cracked and repaired grip. The magazine with the gun when I had to sell it was a modified Browning 32 acp mag that my dad and a Michigan gunsmith named Art Lawson fixed up for it back in the late 40's. The magazine functioned fine with the gun. Serial number was 337099. Had Nazi acceptance marks on it.
My father got this pistol from a Nazi Major during the war that was a POW. I sold it in August 1980, to Jack's Custom Guns in Oxford, Michigan. I had two sick kids at home at the time, both diabetic, and was real short on money or it would have never been sold. Sold all my guns at the time!
I know it's been a long time, but sure would like to get it back. I believe it is still in Michigan some where, but there I no way of tracking it through their gun registration program, so hoping someone out there has an idea on who may have it.
