CZ DUO (.25 ACP) Trigger Spring Help! ... Resurrected
« on: January 07, 2019, 04:45:11 PM »
I'm resurrecting this topic, in the hope that someone might have the information that I am looking for.

I bought a early Dusek Duo, knowing that it was missing the trigger/safety spring (not to start a discussion on what it should be rightfully called).  I picked up the missing spring from Jack First. This Slide marking variation is from 1937, or possibly also 1938.  There is no discernible year below the Czech Rampant Lion.  On the right side of the frame there is a stamped "49".  The "49" also appears on the trigger "Connector" and several other internal parts.
No other ID's are in evidence.

Not to draw this out, there is no "well" for the typical trigger/safety spring to be inserted into. My question is therefore, were there variations in the spring to accommodate this condition ?  If so, does anyone know what it might look like, along with a photo ?
