10mm Evo Project.
« on: January 08, 2019, 12:18:00 AM »
After toying with a few things and some feedback I am Jumping right to 10mm Evo.

I will be getting Reamers and go no go when barrel blank is here.

Goal as follows

Mil new pocket on Slide
mod or make a new extractor
Chamber 10mm barrels in 5 inch and 8 inch
Millout Magwell adaptors for Glock mags( or other option)
Order trunnion for 10mm Barrels.

Should be interesting.

I've been looking into the differences from 9mm to 10mm when the 22 tcm round was brought up. Would be awesome to have a 10mm variant. I did love my H&K USC in .45....

Ya 10mm is a big jump. I'm still thinking of the 22 tcm project but I got alot of PM aboult 10mm figure there's alot looking at that so figure why not try it 1st.

Looking at buying some used parts if I can for R&D sadly dont see any factory barrels and such on the barter section. Next up checking other sites or just ordering new trunnions

I can't wait to see. Please post lots of pics.

It would be so great if a conversion kit one day became available.

Will do once I have everything here to do this it will not take to long to be honest it's not a ton of machine work.

To kind. But like anything you have love to do it's not to hard. My hobby drove me to be a machinist.

But once I have a few 3D models in the works I'll post up some PDF or photos.

The biggest hold up is of course $$ I'm putting up a few firearms on a local gun trader site to move them None CZ stuff anyways! Lol will fund 6 or 8  attempts if I mess things up. It's unlikely to use up that much supply's but I like to be safe. Plus if it works I'll be stating the next project of course would be .40 S&W as its basicly the same thing then a 45 ACP followed by  the odd ball's if interest is there.

45acp makes me giggle and tingle, but I think 10mm is probably the way I'd go in the scorpion.

So, I am rooting for you.

Me too! A nice quiet subsonic 9mm and then a crazy 10mm in the same package. I'll have to have 2 Scorpion pistols.....
