Catalog has MSRP for every currently available BREN 2 MS as $1799. The Carbine and BR aren't available for civilians, yet. They missed one variant, the 14" 5.56mm pistol.

CZ website doesn’t show a 14 inch model in 5.56mm being produced for the US Market.  There were 50 14’ 5.56mm models of the Bren 2S shipped to the US from the original 300 as I understand it.

Hopefully we see street pricing come down quick but I doubt it.  The Bren is a hot commodity right now.

I was on the fence between the APC223 or waiting for the Bren 2 5.56 with 8" barrel.  I'm set on the Bren.

14 inch is only being made in 7.62x39.  Not 5.56mm

14" is in the catalog for the 5.56 too...SKU: 91452

I am out until they offer the stock though...

Kind of bummed that no carbine is in the line up for 2019...if anything...I'd get a 8" variant with a SB PDW brace...

The reason for no carbines is the same thing when the 805 came in as pistol only - 922(r). Any semi auto rifle imported into the US has to play the ten or more game, where a semi auto detachable magazine rifle capable of accepting a magazine bigger than 10 round has to have ten or more US made parts to qualify as US made. Pistols, on the other hand, do not fall under this requirement, and are much easier to get ATFE approval with semi auto only receivers. Is dumb, is law.  >:( So, while ATFE mulls the BREN 2 carbine importation, we get pistols.

It's actually 10 or fewer foreign parts of the 20 potential parts the ATF says applies to 922r. It's an important distinction since most guns don't have all 20 parts, so the number of US parts needed to be compliant is less than 10.

If you need a place
To put the brace
Then buy a vault
It's not your fault
You want a Bren
Or two, or three or ten...

You are absolutely right - brain cramp on the using the wrong word.
