Yes,  just picked up a Cajunized CZ75BD in fact.  Usually just look at the reputable vendor listings.

For certain the biggest look out for is unregistered sellers.

Should probably have kept my mouth shut on how well it has worked for me. 3 obvious scammers on guns i am currently selling, all in the same week.
When did it change from "We the people" to "screw the people"?

Why use 911 when it's faster to use 1911 or 9mm?

I've only had good experiences on Armslist. I bought and sold maybe 10 guns. As with anything, you have to use common sense and exercise caution. There is always folks out there attempting to take advantage of you.

Listed a Sig 1911 I wasn't shooting on armslist last weekend. Was supposed to replenish cash from Tanfoglio purchase. Well... came home with this. S&W 686+ performance center. Guy I met was a local cop. We both walked away happy.

Picked up a CZ 805 Bren s1 off armslist. We emailed then communicated by phone. Met in an Interstate park and ride that has cameras and police box. Rifle was described as new in the box and that's what it was. Settled on $1300. both of us left happy. It's my third good experience using armslist.

I got a deal brewing in Dallas, Texas that's on the cusp of being too good.

Anyone reading this in Dallas, I'll pay you $150 to personally pick up the rifle and ship it back to my FFL. It's supposed to be in the factory shipping box, so there shouldn't be a lot involved. I got Postal Money Orders and a PDF of my FFL ready and waiting.

The guy sent me a photo of his Texas driver's license and address, but it's not his hands in the photos of the gun.

PM me for details.

Man, be really cautious and ask lots of questions.  Ask for the seller?s DL in a picture next to the firearm. I fleshed out two scams in the past two months, both selling SP-01 Bull Shadows for well below market.

I do use Armlist from time to time.
Use common sense and you will be alright.
I meet at a gun shop's parking lot where having a gun in the open is OK.
I never ship guns to avoid complications.
I never had problems with buyers and sellers, everything always went smooth.
But If you are buying a gun, know what you are buying, in details, because people (we included), do some weird stuff to our guns.

I bought a CZ Cajunized PCR on arms list; Was very sketchy and I sent the money first, but the firearm did arrive exactly as described. Sometimes you find trustworthy people; There is another one I want but seems too good to be true; Really have to be cautious and avoid if you can.

Interesting comments. Wondering how do people do F2F? Howvdoes someone having a CCW help? Don't you still need to deal with an FFL? Don't you need to do a DROS or have some third party involved to ensure the firearm is on a roster? Perhaps I am confused bc I am in the royally messed state of CA. I have contacted many out of state sellers but they refuse to ship to my state and or an FFL.
WTB PM if you got any for sale:
CZ 75 SHORT RAIL (factory blued)
CZ 75 PRE-B (factory blued).

Most states don't require the California level of BS, and only require the services of an FFL when the private sale is crossing state lines.

I sold a S&W sd9ve on armslist , but we met up at my local gun range to do the deal with the ffl . Sold magazines locally but met up in a open public place . Here we have no choice but go to a ffl to transfer firearms . I think common sense and caution should always be applied .
