Rarity of matte stainless CZ?
« on: February 01, 2019, 06:58:26 AM »
How rare are the matte stainless cz75s?

I'm debating between a P01 and the matte stainless CZ.

They import two or three runs a year. Not super rare but also not easy to find new depending on when you look.

Found mine online at a LGS when they had a handful BNIB, a week later....... all sold out (mine being one of them).

Don't know the rarity but do know of a nice looking one in the classified section here.

Not rare in my household, since I have one.  Best move I ever made,  Get one if you find one!

If you want a nice gun to keep, get the stainless.
If you're looking for a carry gun, I'd go with the P01.  Just a thought.

Those are not ?rare? guns. They are just imported at intervals. Quick check on GB reveals new and used at decent prices currently. Last year they imported a ton of them and prices got down near $600 for new ones.

The polished stainless versions are usually harder to find and most often the price is a bit higher than the matte stainless.

As if the stainless 75 can't be carried ???

I just had a OWB holster made by Boriqua for just this purpose.

Amen.  I have a Galco CONCEALABLE OWB that for me is high ride and forward canted perfectly for comfortably carrying.  Since the vast majority of the time I carry cocealed, it doesn't get nearly as much ride time as the Rami.

Hey!  Another look at the above photo shows the polished stainless in the background with an ejection port to the left!
 ;) ::)
I might be interested in such a mirror-image carry for the left hip.

Getting back to berke......
Why do you think the P01 is a better carry gun over the 75B?   I assume most people do not carry pistols with lights/lasers/etc hanging from a rail.
Let me know.

I think most people like the P-01 for carry because it?s lighter with its alloy frame, and also has a decocker instead of a safety.

I?ve carried all of these....the ounce?s of difference can/do, ?make a difference? at times......add to these base weights, 10-19 9mm rounds and the differences do stretch out a bit  ???

36.1 oz   Full Size Stainless
35.2 oz   Full Size Steel
32.8 oz   Compact Steel
29.4 oz   Phantom Polymer  (my personal favorite)
28.1 oz   P01 Alloy
27.5 oz   PCR Alloy
