40 S&W PCR?
« on: February 09, 2019, 03:35:00 PM »
Having missed out on a local P-06 I got to thinking - I have a full CGW PCR, I assume I can just get a P-06 barrel and perhaps upgrade the recoil spring and I'll be good to go?  The 11123 mags would suffice as well?

I'd give CZ-USA or CGW a call and get an opinion from the horse's mouth so to speak. I've not heard of anyone doing that yet.

P-06 barrel is larger diameter than the 9mm.

You would need a .40 upper.

P06 is noticeably wider , heavier slide.

It would take more mods than just adding a .40 slide.  My .40 slides will not fit on my 9mm pistols.  IIRC, It might be that the rib on the bottom of the .40 slide interferes with the sear cage on the 9mm pistols.  That would require getting a different sear cage as well.
