P10 Grip cut?
« on: March 30, 2019, 01:07:12 AM »
Is it possible to cut down a grip on a p10? For example, to take a p10c frame and cut the frame down to a p10s size? You hear about glock 17s getting cut down to g19 size all the time but wondered if it works on the P10 series, too.

I'm thinking it'd be more difficult given the back strap on a p10

I looked at the exploded drawing, and it probably could be done, but the backstrap would be quite weird looking and feeling, I think. It would also have to be glued in place. ;)

For .5" barrel length. I would not even bother. I suppose if you must have one it could be done with just epoxying the backstrap :)

I came here to post the same question for the P-10F and cut it down to the C grip length. I'm going to bet someone will do it eventually but as others have said you'll likely have to meld the back grip to do it in much the same way others have done with Gen4 Glocks.

I wonder if you can just use the smaller p10 backstrap.

If I were to do it though, I'd probably get it stippled anyway and the guy that did my other p10c blended the backstrap anyway
