Anyone convert Bren 805 to 300 blackout?

So Iv been wanting a Bren for a while now, was going to play the waiting game for a Bren 2 308 carbine but with my state being super blue they are pushing for an outright ban on sale of anything classified as a ?assault rifle? come March. That being said I saw last year they offered the 805 in 300
Blackout but when I went to purchase on this week I noticed not only were they discontinued but not one is for sale, I?m thinking maybe they pulled a bushmaster and abandoned the different caliber and went full swing into Bren 2. Although I found on dealer who said they had one in stock upon calling them they said they haven?t had any in that chambering in ?many months?. I already have a decent AR in 556/223 so I was not interested in the 805 chambered in 556. With all that being said does anyone make an aftermarket 300 blackout conversion for the Bren 805 or is it not as simple as concerting an AR15. Thanks guys! Sorry if it?s a noob question.

it was almost produced, but the demand wasn't there. The 805 is completely discontinued, so there will be no mare upgrades from CZ-USA, but perhaps an aftermarket guy could putter something up. I know one guy who converted an 805 to 6.5 Grendel, but he's a CZ-USA gunsmith with access to awesome tools and the knowledge needed to do it.
I would wonder what calibers the BREN 2 might come in eventually, and perhaps a nicely worded note to CZ-UB and CZ-USA expressing a desire for a BREN 2 in 300 Blackout. Also, you might suggest a "ban" version with as few "objectionable" features as possible. Get active, too and get that junk stopped! Good luck!

Wasn't the 805 offered in 7.62x39 to some countries' military?

Yes, I believe they entered into an agreement to produce them in Pakistan.

It has had many names but I think now it is called the Bren 807.  See all the main variants listed on the .CZ web site.
