New Shadow 2

Got my new Shadow 2 black/blue today.
I replaced the red fiber optic with green so that I can see it better.
Now I just have to wait until mid next week to try it out, that's going to feel like a long wait.
Oh well at least I can dry fire it a bit.

Congrats!!  I am waiting on mine from Cajun Gun Works, bought new from them and having them work their magic before shipping to my FFL.

Recently obtained a new Shadow2 in Black/Urban Grey and it is a beautiful firearm. I already have an SP01 Tactical and I was expecting the Shadow to have a superior trigger. It does not. In SA the Tactical is slightly better. In DA the Shadow is not in the same ballpark. Way to heavy. Looks like I will have to send it to somebody for some work later this year.

Congratulations!! I just picked up my first CZ pistol EVER. It is the Black/Blue Shadow 2 as well. I have done nothing but hold this thing for the past two days. I can not believe how good it feels in my hands. The grip doesn't even feel like a double stack grip. The grip is slim and perfectly sized for my hands. The trigger is PHENOMENAL!! Waiting for it to stop raining so I can finally get out to the range and try this bad boy out.

I will say that I am a die hard Sig Sauer fan and that all of my Sig friends are pissed at me.  Im already talking about ditching my Sigs. If this thing shoots half as good as it feels in my hand, I may be clearing out a large quantity of high end Sig pistols. I am in love with this new Shadow 2. I don't usually flip out over a pistol as I have a lot of them from different manufacturers but this Shadow 2 is something special. I can feel it. It fits me. It's weight is perfect. It's trigger is awesome right out of the box. To say I'm in love so far is an understatement. The only thing that could change my opinion of this gun is if it fails to operate properly or if its accuracy is just plain horrible but I am not expecting either of those to be the case. Tomorrow is supposed to be nice so I'm hoping we will find out for sure tomorrow.

Oh and did I mention its just drop dead gorgeous as well??

Curious on how the change to the green fiber turned out for you. I just received my Shadow 2 blue and my old eyes could not pick up the front sight at all indoors on the first range trip. Have some green in order. Amazing firearm though.

Hi dmodde, The green fiber optic worked out well for me but I don't see red very well and that is the reason I changed it. When I shoot on an indoor range (which has less than ideal lighting) I use +1 safety glasses (not bifocals) which help me get a much better sight picture.

Just curious if you normally wear bifocals? Haven't tried these but great suggestion and at that price it's worth a shot.

I live 15km from Czech Republic. Shadow 2 from local Czech dealer costs 28400k? = USD1259. In Poland, my dealer sells SH2 in price 3999PLN (polish zloty) = USD1054. Strange

No I don't wear bifocals only over the counter +1.5 reading glasses for reading.
You may already know this but +1 safety glasses will make the target/bullseye appear a little out of focus but as long as the front sight is clear and sharp you should be able to get good hits on the target.
