So this model is exactly what I?m looking for, I love the full rail on the slide, full guide rod and full beaver tail.  Now I have to find one, and they seem scarce and have a 9mm barrel fitted
A 40 cal Slide with a 9mm Barrel ?
Not sure just how well that'd work .... different size Breach-Face and all
Yeah, I like to see a Full Length Guide Rod on the 9mm too, but it doesn't seem (that) necessary
I have heard, that a few Owners have modded their 9mm B-SAs to run a FL Guide Rod
Since (I believe) CZ has stopped production of the B-SA, you may never see one (from the Factory) that way either

All four of my .40 S&W CZ slides have 9mm barrels on them.

But how reliable is your extraction and ejection ?

9mm barrel has worked perfectly in my .40 SP-01 Tactical (even came with the mags marked for .40 on one side and 9mm on the other).

So how does the SA come to a middle of the road 1911 like say a Springer in trigger pull. Is it meant to be an alternative to the 1911 with  higher capacity mag? Yesterday was the 1st time I even knew they existed.  8)
CZ75- CZBD- CZ Sp01Phantom- CZ 70- CZ 27- CZ 24
SWCA- NRA LM

You have to provide a proper set of variables such as are both guns that are being compared stock or not?

The variety in performance for both guns is an extremely wide range for, one example to the next.

I have some Colt 1911's in .45 acp.  I've owned one SA and one ParaOrdnance.

Today, after having shot my own DA/SA CZ75 types and my youngest son's CZ75SA, if I were buying a 9MM SA metal framed full size pistol it would be a CZ75SA.  It's not bad at all out of the box and with some polishing work and parts from CZ Custom or Cajun Gun Works it can be amazing.
I just keep wasting time and money on other brands trying to find/make one shoot like my P07 and P09.  What is wrong with me?

I found a solid deal on a 75b in .40 and just got her home.  Threw on a set of grips I had laying around and installed a Shadow 2 style extended safety.  I really like it so far

I have never seen a .40 S&W CZ75 in person.  I go to a lot of gun shows and see lots of 9MM, but no .40's.

Of course, we'll need to see targets and read a range report.

I assume that most of these are in California since it?s in their roster, I found this one there anyways.  Now that CZ doesn?t make them anymore I?m surprised they would let one leave the state.  I love that this one has the full beavertail unlike the 75b in 40

TO EJB - did you have to do much fitting to get the S2 extended safety to work in your .40? I converted a DA .40 to single action would like to add a larger safety for competition.

Well, the safety you are looking at looks like a S2 extended safety but that one would not fit this gun.  This is a S2 Ext safety for the SP-01 Shadow Orange and requires very little fitting especially if you use the adjustable sear.
