thanks for the thread and all the great info especially SCarletts post.

lately this kind of stuff is all I can think of. I need a practice  gun and the  cajones to give it a try( and lots of videos at the ready of course)  CZ upgrading    make 1911 detailed strips look easy

Probably going to order sight tomorrow. Just some questions.
Why do are competitions sights taller? How do they help?
If I put the shadow 2 magazine release on is it still production?
Think I want the cwg pro kit which has the trigger reach reduction. Does this make a big deal in Uspsa or idpa? The trigger feels like its a reach so I feel this is a must but not totally sold yet.

Do you save money buying the kit or did any one do it one pc at a time?
