Hiya metal wonder nine guy and thx for your thread. I'd like to see Smecky and Stuart chime into an answer for ya,but my experience is yes they do. And agree with the other operators that if you invest energy,time,and money you can improve most any of them. I recall having asked Stu to remove a firing pin block in a gun as part of a project to improve the trigger action to my wishes and it was an improvement. Vaguely recall a conceal carry instructor mention such work is a non issue for a range piece but could pose legal issues if used in a self defense scenario, may or may not be fact.
And then the issue of what smoother trigger means to one operator verses another,much less one platform to another. So can a 8lb DA pull feel as smooth as a 4lb? I once described an omega decocker p-02 compacts as mushy and expects my smith to make it un-mushy..lol. One of the smoothest 75b's triggers I ran across was at a ranges rental counter so I assume that 10odd years of regular use can smooth out a trigger as well.Cheers
