Hiya Terry G and thx for your thread. I think its great that you have a passion about the ca's and your wife prolly won't divorce you over it. I'm sorry your love affair with the 75b has allowed your eye to wander. If its a standard model some mods to trigger, reset, competition hammer etc could renew your interest and save you hundreds. But the sp-01 is the apple and the 75b is the orange, the rami the grape, and tactical sport the plum. So its ok to enjoy more than just one fruit. The 75b was slightly lighter to carry, but the sp-01 extra weight in the rail seemed to reduce the felt muzzle flip,so liked that. A previous operator let ya know about the tactical versions differences. I thought mine was prolly the straightest shooting out of the box I'd run across, but didn't need night sights, and kinda didn't like that I had to push up verses down on the decocker. If your budget allows an upgrade to the standard I'd say go for one of several versions of shadow,it would increase your range enjoyment ,I'd stop short of doing the ACCU bushing as the gun is plenty accurate and its an added pain in breakdown when cleaning. It may not be on your radar yet but if ya have a cz dealer nearby look at the long slide models, which combine the shadow frames and marry them to a tactical sports upper, the feeling of the balance alone would make you pick up flowers for your wife on the way home. Shop used if you can,and watch the ads here to to save hundreds off a new one. Be well.
