Yes sir, I wish other manufacturers would follow suit!  I only have one CZ (so far) a 527 carbine in .223.

Probably so.  I like the looks of the new 457.  Need a .22 mag so I do!!  Nice looking trio you have by the way!!

The problem with the 22 magnum is the ammo, nobody makes decent 22 mag ammo.  I get more consistent accuracy with my 22lr Lux.

I like CZ's value to dollar ratio. On most rifles you get a nice chunk of wood (some are excellent) and blued steel. Being an old guy I appreciate those features. I also like the 527's action size as it relates to the cartridges that it host. I have a post 64 Winchester 70  Varmint in 222 Remington. I also have a pair of CZ's in the same cartridge. After a day of lugging one of these rifles around I'll pick the CZ's every time. I know that the CZ's can be a little rough through the action at times but so can the Rem/Rug/Win/Ect.. Most newer rifles dont interest me all that much. About the only new rifles I've purchased lately have been CZ's. I also have not been using the 22-250/220 Swifts any where near as much. With the plastic tip bullets your 17-204-222-223 will do 95% of a Swift. So CZ's seem to get called on more. Anyway I have an assortment of 527 and 452/455 because they work and are accurate. If they weren't I wouldn't have bothered with a second CZ had the first had been a lemon. They aren't perfect but they are darn good. They have there idiosyncrasies like the safety (not really a big deal my first rifle a JC Higgins 22 and my Anschutz safeties work the same) and extended magazine (just modify the trigger gaurd and make the mag a 3 rounder) but those too can be dealt with. All around pretty decent rifles.
