I like that.

After seeing who posted it that might be mine if it?s heading to Tennessee when finished.

Hiya and thanks for the thread. I'm always amazed at the new inroads that occur in the engineering, creative minds, and problem solving in this industry. What area of out of pocket investment is a S2 operator looking at with this addition of functions form ? Be well.

I think that just raw  out of the bead blaster.   But if that was a finish I might just want that.

Unfortunately it's not a clean cut answer.

Basically: It will depend on the optic being used. DP Pro is frickin heavy, so you will still need to find a way to lose some weight.

Some optics will make weight with no additional work needed on your end.

Gotcha thanks!

Well that?s the optic I?m leaning towards.  Or I?ll have to wait until sig releases their new Romeo 3 max.

Trimming more weight is incredibly easy.

Pro tip: Taking off the DP Pro hood shroud in itself is nearly half an ounce.
There's lighter grips out there which are legal for CO, polymer guide rod, etc. Lots and lots of very, very easy ways to remove that last tiny bit of weight needed.
