Pairing - SP-01 & Sub 2K
« on: March 16, 2019, 12:55:35 PM »
I recently converted my Sub 2K Gen 2 to accept CZ 75 mags. I think these two are going to have a lot of fun together...  ;D

As long as you have the Multi-Mag version of the Sub 2K, it's a cheap part and a very simple swap from whatever you currently have it configured for:

https://www.keltecweapons.com/collections/accessories/sub2000/

You can get the 'Catch Kit' for Beretta, M&P, Sig 226, CZ 75, etc. And you don't even have to disassemble the grip to swap out the catch plate.

If you have the Glock version of the Sub 2K however, I believe it isn't swap-able.

Do it. They're really fun. I did pretty much the full M*Carbo workup on it and it's worth it. Super reliable, super accurate.

I have yet to chrono mine, but BBTI shows real-world FPS for a 9mm Sub 2K with a variety of loads:

http://www.ballisticsbytheinch.com/9luger.html

Interesting to note that the FPS out of the Kel-Tec exceeds both the Beretta CX4 Storm with a 16" barrel and an MP5 with an 18" barrel.

I logged my 115gr RN Averaging 1389 fps
and  my 124gr RN averaging 1266fps
About the same with 2 different powders.

This is cool! I wonder if Multi- model can accept inserts for both CZ and Beretta?

Can you clarify what you mean by 'inserts?'
