Sorry for the delay in responding, been extremely busy at work. Had a few minutes today so did a little research. Everything I come up with says ....yes, these will fit a cz 75 compact.

Is this something a newbie can change out?
or will it require drilling &/or special tools?

Minor mechanical skills
 
Hammer

Punch to remove/install front sight pin and a larger brass punch to remove/install rear sight. probably won't need punch for install of new rear sight.

Round and/or tapper file for new front sight, needs to be notched for front sight pin to be reinstalled. Use original front sight as pattern for notch on new front sight.
