Your Preferred suppressor host. P07 or P09?

Looking at adding a suppressor rest pistol to my collection.  I have a P06!and love it.  I tend to gravitate more to compact/midsize Glock 19 sized pistols. 

I don?t have my suppressor yet and don?t know if I would end up preferring a full size P09 more as acsupressor host than adding an additional P07 in suppressor ready configuration.

Am I missing anything in the P09 that I?m not getting in the P07 other than longer grip and slide.  I understand the larger mags, but don?t really care about that for this role.

Well you said you tend to like mid size guns, so the P07 is right there. However, if carrying is not a plan, then go P09. I have the P09 UG SR and I have not shot it with a can yet. It is very soft shooting though. My thought is if it will strictly be a range gun, why not go bigger.

I shoot the P 07 suppressed but I think the P09 is a little big for me.

I have the P09 Suppressor Ready and like it.  I haven?t shot it with a suppressor yet, but tend to favor the longer sight radius of a full size gun at the range.  I don?t carry.

I will say that once you thread a can on the barrel, the overall length takes some getting used to for handling.  Not sure the inch or so shorter dimension of the P07 would feel much different.  Truthfully, I don?t think you would go wrong either way.

I say go big or go home, LOL, but seriously if you already have a po7, then go ahead and get the po9.
My EDC IS P09. Not everybody type can carry a po9, I understand that. Mine has a Vortex RDS absolutely love it. Remember you can always add a threaded barrel to your po7.

I got the P09 first and loved it.

Then I bought a P07 and sent it to CGW for their work and milled for RMR, it is now the only pistol I carry for a primary pistol. I do about once every few months have a day where I want something small and it is a low threat day so then I will carry my HK P7.

But since they both have a P and a 7, they are related in some weird way ???
