First time moving with my PCR
« on: March 23, 2019, 02:19:01 PM »
Hey Guys,
So I shot in a bay that allowed movement for the first time. Two things. First, when shooting quickly at close range (10ft or less) I didn?t really have time to acquire my sights yet still shot remarkably accurate. I?m really shocked at how well the PCR just points and shoots. Second, the recurve trigger ate a whole in my finger within 200 rounds. Now I don?t really have a problem with the recurve trigger,as it doesn?t allow my finger to slip or move around, as long as my finger builds a tolerance for it. I can?t have a bloody blister every time I go shoot. Anyway, love the PCR more every time I shoot it!!

Hiya David0408 and thanks for your thread. Glad you were able to shoot in motion, my range restricts it to just the lane. Imagine with practice you will start seeing the sights with increased frequency, but have even seen places like Taran tactical (john wick training) where shooting from the hip can be very accurate.
Had read an operators thread the other day that on his first outing with a new compact his finger only survived one mag. I had a similar trigger that hurt me to,and got back at it with a more comfortable, pain free (except the cost) replacement. If you can provide any pics of your days at the range,I appreciate em. Be well.

Hey Adrian, yes I?m looking at getting some different sights on my PCR. I won?t say what because I?ve gone back and forth so much that I don?t want any more advice/criticism lol. I think I?m going to stick with the recurve trigger for now. If my finger can?t take it then maybe I go with the 85 combat trigger? I can?t remember if that?s the proper trigger but I know that there is another one that is slightly more flat. Love the PCR!

The original 85c trigger is what you need.   I wouldn't try to deal with it any longer.   The 85c trigger so much more comfortable.

Cheers,
Toby

I remember that blood blister!  Good call on deciding to go 85. You will definitely not regret it.
